Rode into Salema from Sagres not a long ride, but a day of strong cold head winds, and rain, no wildcamp tonight, meet Henk from Netherland, who, is, touring in his van, and doing spot tours from van base, wants to retire and do the big one.... I think we inspired him.

Sagres Portugal

Been a good ride, but a hard ride, Portugal having an unusual cold and wet March, makes you really appreciate  the better days. Were riding east along the coast, looks like another wet day.....adios

Odeceixe portugal Algarve

Rode into Odeceixe from Almagrave, stayed with Joao,  a keen bicycle tourer at his familys farm,

We had an great time there, and expeirenced Portugese hospitality. Joao gave us the grand tour of the area. Awsome place.

We will miss Joao and his family. South to Sagres.

Setabul - Troia - Praia da Galé

Such a smooth start in Lisbon thanks to  Hernarni, So many thoughts in my mind about, how we were going to ride all the way to Malta, we had no doubts! maybe a little:-) this is totally a new way to Roll, So we catch a ferry from Setubal to Troia.....and had our sights on a camp on the coast at Praia da Galé, haven't got our timing yet as we were slugging away in the dark, with all our lights going, by 9.30pm we fially find the camp, 90klm ride today..... camp up, and sleep like crazy. wake up to a beautiful Atlantic coastline, eroded cliffs, long sandy beaches ad sunshine.... pack up camp...later in the day and south to Porto Covo
