The big day,............ arriving to a new country with 2 bike boxes and months ahead of us feeling amped....Stayed with fellow bicycle tourer Hernani in Almada, Lisbon, a great bloke who shared everything with us, showed us around the beautiful city of Lisbon, and helped us get going, Hernani is leaving soon for a several year bicycle tour around the globe following the footsteps of the Portuguese Navigators.. hope to host him when he rides by in a few years.... A couple of days in Lisbon then south to Setubal, then to a coastal camp, so day 1, was 90klms, getting into camp late that night.....breaking in all the gear, workin out the gig, wake to check out the Atlantic coast along eroded cliffs... feels like a dream, maybe it is.........................
